Organizational Profile

 The Southeast Side Block Club Alliance (SSBCA) is a block club association which started as an initiative of the South Shore Neighborhood Network initiative. After the first block club assembly in 2013, the Southeast Side Block Club Alliance was born and now is an initiative of The Planning Coalition.

Mission Statement

To provide resources to block clubs on the southeast side of Chicago that will start, re-activate, and strengthen active block clubs, by connecting, training, and building.

Vision Statement

To transform our neighborhoods into sustainable communities that are safe, beautiful, and nurturing by working in unity with our residents, businesses, community leaders, elected official, and government agencies.
